  1. You mention a desk.

I have a desk. A largish L-shaped sauder-esque desk that would be very happy to occupy a corner of one of your rooms. It even has a hutch. I don’t know exact dimensions… it was left by the previous owner of our house, and we had to take it apart to get it out of the room.

It’s been not-so-gently used (meaning the edges are a bit ragged), but the surface should be good. Free to a new home, if you’d like it.

  2. When I moved out of my apartment in Dec. 2002 I had eight pieces of paper taped to the wall: various lists of things to buy, pack, move, do, clean, be aware of, etc.

Sometimes I can hardly funciton without lists!

  3. Not to be a follower, but…

You mention a desk. I have a desk. It is the sterotypical “student” desk: black tubing frame and a white melamine top. There’s an architect’s lamp (swing-arm type, but it’s got a tricky switch… huh, why did that sound so dirty?). The top you can angle a bit, the underpart has optional shelves. It’s about 3′ (ish) wide and standard-desk deep and tall. Nothing fancy-pants, but it’s held my laptop and printer pretty well over these years.

Also, there’s a chairmat. No matching chair though. Oddly enough, we’ve become sentimentally attached to our office chairs. And they’re covered in cat fur anyway. We loves us the office chairs, we do.
