I should have left an hour ago…
.. but I started readign livejournal, and had to go back 160.
I would blame it on my LJ groups, but that’s bullshit, they rarely crop
up.
However, i’m not going to do anything about it. So there.
I spent all of Friday at Cedar Point, and it was a blast, but I ached
like hell, coming home. The Mantis = evil and not fun, ever. My
vindication is that Ben and Rik hurt even more than I did, afterward.
Hah!
Skate and I saw Batman Begins, which makes the second time I’ve seen it
this weekend. Still a very, very good movie, compelling and well-told.
Yes, there are some scientific conundrums I could examine, particularly
in the final sequence, but the movie makes me not want to, which is a
perfect example of a movie that does its job properly. I want my belief
suspended because it’s just so cool.
the Mantis almost crippled me. i do not like that ride at all
I’m going to pick out your print this week or next weekend and give it to trase to give to you! yay!
I have a frame for it but I have to find a mat.
Can you believe I’m coming up on 27 in a few months and I’ve still NEVER been to Cedar Point? Never been a heights fan and I occasionally get motion sickness soooo that kinda rules out rollercoasters lol.
And I agree, Batman Begins rocks!
It’s the ME device, isn’t it? There are so many things wrong with that plan, it boggles the mind.
of course. I found the final explosion amusing, as if they just happened to make the device out of C-4. And the distinct lack of waterbased-human fatality. :)
I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever ride the mantis again. It hurt for days and ruined about 2 hours of my day at Cedar Point. The ride is janky.
