Cheryl and Kendra met with me after the long drive from work (I didn’t get home until 7), wherein we had Macaroni Grill and talked about everything under the sun. Kendra and Cheryl are long-lost siblings, and it was cute to watch their constant high-fiving as the realized how similar they were. Oh, their LJ names are nuttie and anspaug4. New friends are cool :)
Kendra spent the night, and I nudged her into Ben’s apartment as I left, so at least she has some company before class.
My intestines are dancing to the imperial march. Ani D was right! I’m in blue jeans at work, though, and I don’t have to worry about my boss looking over my shoulder.
It’s that burnout feeling, you know how you get after you’ve been shoving your car out of a muddy ditch, and it keeps rolling back? The ol’ neurons just aren’t firing properly today.
On a positive note (because I can’t bear to leave you fine folks in my doldrums), I actually had approximately 7 hours of sleep last night. Must’ve been the company.
Yay for the Imperial March….if I”m thinking of what you’re thinking of.
Of course you are, Nancy. *ss*
Although I don’t generally say “yay” when my intestines are dancing all by themselves. *wry smile*
Well, usually things involving the Imperial March are a “yay”…like radio commercials for free tickets in which the name of the movie is NEVER MENTIONED, they just play the music and everyone knows what it’s for. That was a yay. :)
Poor intestines. Remember to take a few deep breaths throughout today and think of the bright day ahead of you. And all the good stuffs all around you.
You, my dear friend, are gonna be better than ok.
