“Privies of Solitude”

I have perfect rain timing, today. I left renfest just before the first drops started falling. I actually jogged from the gate to my car, because I knew, by the way the leaves of the trees looked, and the wind felt, what we were in for.

Oh, and the second-best part of having friends who work at fest? Changing in their booth instead of driving home in gear! :)

I picked up a new necklace. I haven’t worn anything in a long time – my old ankh died, and it isn’t really my style anymore, anyway. Also, a more “appropriate” head scarf, which literally required a jaunt to every. single. clothing. store. Lauren was a total champ. :)

Angie insists I must come up to L-town for one of the Firefly nights. I’m not generally a TV watcher, but hey – no cats!

Chuck and I saw each other on three consecutive days. I believe you had best find your rosaries and prayer wheels, because the world is doomed. DOOMED!

  1. You are sooooo lucky.

I got out a little while after you (when everybody else was leaving!) and was stuck for AN HOUR in the same exact spot.

No, seriously. My car was in park. It was quite frustrating.

And seeing every single clothing store at festival? Bonus, really. Especially with such good company. ;)

    • *kotc* thanks, sweetie! :) Good times. And the secret privies? pristine. *nods Very Seriously* So… liberating!

      • Glad you enjoyed the Privies of Solitude. *giggles*

Y’know, I was right. That’s the only thing I remember. All of our other witticisms (and Bob’s) have been consumed by the evil quagmire in my head.

And what are you doing posting, sir? Are you not supposed to be somewhere else?

  2. so where are the requisite pictures of your new shinies?
