Coalmining hands

Okay, I wash my hands several times a day. I don’t leave the bathroom without using soap, and yet I look at my hands and it looks like I’ve been mining coal for a week. WTF? I mean, I use my fingers to rub down my knucles and such while washing, and the water that comes off is grey! Not to mention regular showers.

The only thing I could come up with is that the rubber on my steering wheel is coming off, but… on the -tops- of my hands? *pictures self rubbing knuckles on the wheel obsessively*

The sheets on my bed are bright red. Not black. My -face- doesn’t look like unwashed (though unshaven, today), so it isn’t like I’m walking through a daily dust-cloud.

It just boggles me.

Edit: Every time I wash my hands at work, I put lotion on them afterward, ’cause they’re dry as the mojave. Maybe that’s attracting dirt? From the sky?

  3. I think it could be a shedding issue. seriously, when skin comes off and you’ve used lotionit turns another color. And dry skin absorbs color because it will absorb anything bear it trying to get liquid. I suggest weekly parrafin treatments until the problem improves, which you can get at a reasonable rate almost anywhere.

    or slather lotion (WITHOUT mineral oil! Mineral oil particles are too big to be absorbed so it just sits on top. totally pointless filler.) on maybe with a little alpha hydroxy (aha) in it (alpha hydroxy will exfoliate the dead built up skin and let the moisture actally be absorbed.) and put big huge thick socks over your hands. Like two pairs of gym socks. then sit down and watch a movie. And up your intake of omega 3’s and 6’s. (or just eat more fish.)
