Damn damn damn
I was about to order a few keyring kites and a replacement for my (sadly) busted keychain glowring from I Want One of Those, and was having trouble with their site. So I called their phone support. After a good 5 minutes of getting down all my info, it turns out not only can they not send the keychain (which I suspected) but they can’t send the kites, either! W.T.F., mate?
So, for the second time, the U.K. has some nice goodies that I would like to send them my hard-earned money for, and they won’t take it. I don’t want to ask that co-worker I asked last time – she happened to be on her way here for a meeting, so it just happened to work out.
Poo.
why did you have to remind about that site….DEMOM!
Yes, yes indeed, I am the antimom.
Why can’t they send them to you?
*ahem*
Some of us have contacts.
Technically, a commercial company can’t send the glowrings to the U.S. because they involve radiation. Now, it’s a radiation that can’t even pass through a sheet of paper, let alone human skin, and it’s being sold by bulk in the U.K., but the U.S. are jerks.
I had a friend pick a few of the older models up for me, a few months ago, and but this one is supposed to be better.
As for the kites? I have no fricking idea. It’s completely dumb. Anyway, if you -do- have a U.K. friend who might be willing to get fundage from me, acquire the trinkets, and send them my way, I would be terribly grateful. :) :)
Well, I’m going over in May…..can you order then and have them delivered to a UK Address? My mum would probably do it.
Sweet :) If I still haven’t found another lead by then, I’ll totally do it that way.
