maybe it’s an evolutionary disirability – I consider pain, loss, etc to be an inevitability, and so I admire those who can handle such with grace, as sturdier specimens go

though I can’t say I’m always graceful, in the rawest moments *grin*
*smile* the definition of bravery isn’t fearlessness, it is having fear and stepping forward anyway. Similarly, being graceful isn’t so much, to me, about being infallibly capable, so much as meeting difficulty head-on and learning to cope on your feet.
