This is the quietest day I can recall, all around.

I have much to do this weekend – Ben and I, after a hiatus for the big moves, have really dug in to the tasks we were working on previously, and then some.

What’s going on out there, this weekend?

The housewarming thing I originally thought might work for Saturday won’t, of course, because everyone is elsewhere, and some friends of mine are already having a housewaring party and I’d rather not make things tough. :)

It’s been more than a month since I moved, though, so if I’m going to have people warming my house, it had better be soon. It does, my friend, need your warming presence to make it whole.

How about Sunday afternoon? I’m sure it’d be smaller than a Saturday night party, but I’m okay with that. I’m thinking everyone brings something interesting to eat or play, and we’ll have a fine time.

You know you need a laugh, and you’ve been thinking about meeting some good people. Heck, how long has it been since you’ve had a hug of Skennedy proportions, anyway?

… did I mention the pool?

If absolutely no one says yes but K.T. and myself (hey, it might happen), I’m spiriting her off to Lansing or something. Guess I should tell her that, eh?

  1. sadly, i won’t be able to make the party. happily, it’s because i won’t be in town between the 11th and the 21st, and instead will be at a camping-ish SCA event in pennsylvania.

  2. I have to work from 1-5, so it’s unlikely I’d be able to make it. :(

  3. Late afternoon I can do. Got something else until 4, but I may leave there early to come hang with you sooner. After all – I miss you, and who doesn’t need a hug of Skenedy proportions?

  4. car ramrod

i’ll still be in philly :/

  5. Out of the 100%, 80% I’ll come, 20% depends on hitching a ride with…..Benny? Amy? Someone from Lansing who plans on coming back Sunday evening :)

    • I dunno when Amy is due back from her work thing up north. Going to this party will depend on how late she gets home, and how much either of us feel like going to D-town. Of course I haven’t actually talked with her about it, so I don’t know what her plans are.

  6. The odds of my presence are dependant on complicated equation, with variables for pepperoni, a small rabbit, the barometric pressure in New Zealand, and the mood of a small village Council in Tibet, among other things. I expect the chances to be rather low.

  7. I have rehearsal at four, so it depends how early in the day you mean by Afternoon. I could come over around noon or one, but I’d have to leave by around 3:15 or 3:30.

  8. I’d like to try, but I don’t know if I have a prior commitment, or not.. How’s that for vague?
