As usual, ConFusion is a hell of a time.

Everyone is awesome. I really end up missing the casual friendly intimacy of my lansing crew when I’m away from them for too long. We found the roving pirate ship party, and I belted out Drunken Sailor for a nifty skull-and-crossbones ribbon.

Also, we made the dance, and jadesfire55 totally won the hall costume contest with her cancan outfit.

We had lots of rum.

And some piesporter.

And I actually, for the first time in my life, ate at a delicious chinese buffet. Delicious being the operative word.

Tomorrow’s the end. Wait – it IS tomorrow, at nearly 5 am. I just thought I’d check in on you folk, make sure no one had died in my absence.

    Missing convention may be partly made up for by ham sandwiches at my dad’s for lunch.

      I certainly might prefer it to the hangover I’ve got…

      It was a bit lower-key this year – only maybe 10 people did the masquerade, and I wasn’t one of them. Still there were plenty of younger kids, so maybe confusion will survive. :)

  3. I had a blast, but am bummed that I didn’t get to see you for more than a passing hello Saturday night. ;) Alas, since I was only at con from Saturday afternoon on, it was a very *condensed* experience and I didn’t really get to spend long times with anyone but my sweetie.

    Perhaps I’ll see you around, though? :)

    • Thanks! It’s hard to convince people to stay after 2 or 3, particularly since so many people are already gone by then. I hope you enjoyed yourself as well, even though you were clearly busy in the Con suite!
