Mmm covetous fidelity!
“Make your MP3 music sound better than your CDs – Hear it all – crisp cymbal crashes, wailing guitar solos and deep, rumbling bass, thanks to the Xmod. It intelligently enhances the highs and lows, restoring detail and vibrance to your audio.
“Stunning surround sound from your stereo speakers – Now, you can enjoy virtual surround sound through your stereo speakers with the Creative Xmod. Expand your stereo MP3 music and digital movies. Voices are centered in front of you. Ambient sound appears all around you… just like a live performance.
“A headphone experience that’s more immersive than ever – Hear the difference even with headphones. X-Fi CMSS-3D expands music from your headphones outwards, so that it sounds like you’re surrounded by multiple virtual speakers. You’ll feel like you’re sitting in with your favorite band, or that you’ve been dropped into the best seat in the movie theater.”

My precioussssss…
Ok . . . but what’s up with the big knob??
Heheheh. Knob.
Heh, volume I guess, or maybe you have some side buttons that change its function.
I’m just curious why they went the way of the knob, since most MP3 player peeps have nice, flat touch wheels or whatnot . . . not some stick up big knob thing so you can’t put the player easily in a pocket or whatnot
90% of the world is perfectly satisfied with 128k MP3s without upsampling. I’m sure the remaining 10% would be pleased with a fancipants aluminum wheel.
O . . k . . . sorry I commented then. Was just making a joke about the wheel being funny . . .
I wasn’t being snarky at all – I was just saying that the wheel is to appease audiophiles who want to see something ‘old-school’. I’m not really an audiophile – I’m mostly in that 90%, but I think it’s neat anyway.
Aahhh how easily miscommunication can occur over the internet ;) A good thing to keep in mind sometimes, don’t ya’ think? ;)
Indeed.
