The weekend of the 28th is my 29th

Now, again, this is my excuse to get some of you wonderful people in the same room together. Forget about presents or cards unless you absolutely must, and there’s NO obligation here – I’m not going to hold you to your answer. Except Ben. Last year, everyone said they had a great time, and many people made some new friends. I’d love to see more of that!

Come out to say “Happy 29th!” and stay for the inevitable laughter (at my expense) ;)

I said it best last year:

You’ve done enough laundry for the week. Your dog can be shampooed on Sunday. Mom, no time for dyin’, there’s partying to do!

I will also be celebrating my incredible luck in coming across so many fabulous, loving, and altogether awesome people. We should fly off into the sunset and seed a new planet full of people that are cool, 24/7.

If you don’t come, you might miss out!

PS: YOU ARE INVITED, F-List peeps! If it makes you feel better, I will do what I did last year – point each and every one of you out by name and invite you. YOU are welcome, so please come!

PPS: Karaoke has also been suggested. Comment if you’re down with that.

  1. (note: this icon was made out of a photo from the party last year! Look at how cute they all are! (Okay, so one’s married and the other two are dating each other. Don’t hold that against them!)

    • Nothing could make us happier than a skennedy party, and we saw lots of happy single people cavorting around also!

I think Karaoke sounds like much fun. Especialy if we get enough numbers to totaly dominate a place.

I ws confused by the lack of Royal Oak options for location… (:

      • Hehe, if karaoke wins out, the potential cities will certainly include the east side, because there’s only so many places doing karaoke. :)

I’d be delighted to have you both there!

        (erm, I mean… that didn’t sound as innocent as I thought. :D )

      • yeah!karaoke sounds fun!

  2. KARAOKE! DRUNKEN KARAOKE!!!!!!

  3. I think we should make this a “Cleansweep” party, where we really, really CLEAN your place, and make you throw up 7-10 trash bags of crap, thereby simplifying your life immeasurably. What a great present, no? I had a party like that once for me. Best long-term effects on my life ever.

  4. I would love to be there…make sure you set a date early so I can take it off work! :-) Karoeki would be great!

  5. Everyone should come to Berlin :P

  6. Make sure to post which day you choose ASAP so people with children (as in me ^_^) can acquire a sitter!

Last year’s party was quite fun.
