I finally threw out the christmas tree that’s been sitting on my second-floor balcony since, well… my birthday. :)
Also, I’ve burned 10 out of 50 CDs for the con party I’m throwing at Penguicon. :) I’ll be giving away copies of Software for Starving Students (PC version). I’m geeked for the “Free Hugs, Free Software” party. ;)
Oop, Anne’s here, time for some tasty vittles!

Oh…. party and hugs! *huggles*
*hugs!*
I bet that my mother still has her tree up – she got an artificial tree a couple years ago and now spends months at time with it up out of season because it can never die. We used to have dead christmas trees for YEARS at a time when I was growing up…there was even a story about them.
Hey, if I had a room you can bet I’d be celebrating!
*chuckle* This tree was fake, as well.
So many questions come to mind…fake trees lead interesting non-lives don’t they?
Oh, definitely. If you catch me online after 9, I’ll have to share.
How has PenguiCon been the last several years? I went to the first one, after organizing its very first Geeks With Guns, but I haven’t been back since. I’m gearing up for Notacon in Cleveland, the weekend after Penguicon. It’s less science fiction, and more technology oriented than Penguicon. Definitely check it out if you have the time and funds!
Most years I don’t necessarily hit the panels, but this year I’m going to have a hard time picking and choosing. They have some great guests this year.
I really enjoyed myself at the last Penguicon.
