Google looks pretty today

*chuckle* What a strange day.

I went to sleep at 9 or so last night, got up at 6, played a little zelda, and got ready for work. I put water on the wrong toothbrush, and while putting it back I knocked my vitamins into the running water (closed, fortunately). I chuckled and promised myself I’d be extra-careful driving in to work today.

And so I left ten minutes early, and those ten minutes were handily absorbed by an unexpected and unexplained traffic slowdown. *shrugs* Guess it’s good I left then, eh?

My first ebay sale in years is going at a great pace – I look forward to some fundage.

OH! I remember what I was going to post about. :D The new “My Google” themes (sign in and go to google.com/ig for some fun portal action) are great!

I’ve got the second-to-bottom one (I think), for which you put in your city and it gives you a skyscape based on the time of the day and, possibly, the weather, in a water-color style. I’m pleased!

Also also, I have this song stuck in my head from Karate Kid – “You’re the best around, nothing’s gonna ever keep you down!” and I think it’s the fault of this music video (for a different, modern song) starring all the major living actors from KK. Trippy.

      • There’s a lot of that going around; bungie.net just got it’s new look this morning, though there’s still some functionality (private groups and the search engine, most notably) that hasn’t been brought over yet. I quite like the look, and the new Stats section is amazing.

        — Steve’s a bit worried about viewing it on his 800×480 portable screen, though… the layout’s a bit wide for that.

          • That’s okay; you can check random matches, not your own. Be sure to mouse over players’ names to see nifty stuff, and to mouse over their medals too.
