Corporate Boredom

ozy_y2k and I are in a really interesting discussion about the specialization of jobs and whether or not boredom is inherent and students should be given more experience with this before being thrust into the world.

Okay, it’s probably not interesting to most, and it’s definitely wordy, but I find it terribly fascinating. If you’re bored and looking to share your mind about something, go there and put in your two cents!

I have to say that these kinds of discussions are one of my absolute favorite things about LJ.

Note: I don’t expect my perspective to be popular, so please feel free to trash my point, heh.

  1. Dude I went over there and agreed with you! Sort of. I think I agreed with you! I’m very tired.

    • I read your comment, I think your perspective was new and interesting. And yeah, I -think- you agreed with me. *laugh*

But I know how lucy’s losing her mind about studying, so I imagine you’re the same.

  2. Yeah, definitely boredom

Unfortunately, the discussion didn’t hold my interest long enough to comment there. I do agree with you that it’s all about finding the job that suits you, as I’ve had jobs which I found tremendously intellectually engaging and rewarding.
