Is this a news report or a trailer for a motion picture?
I love BNL’s Bathroom Sessions on youtube, especially this and this and this and this. (seriously, there’s dozens) Thanks, jes!
I talked via email with my favorite teacher (that I inherited from jupiters_angel), and it was very cool. He’s got some awesome things in the works for himself, and I’m geeked for him and envious of the kids who’ll have him as their teacher.
Dave Sands came over the other night. He’s a high school buddy (one of the few that actually went to my school), and we had a hilariously great time at my place. There was wii and magic and pizza, and lots of memories. We have a lot of interesting things in common as ‘arty geeks’, and have read surprisingly similar sets of books since the teen years.
Lucy totally aced her micro test. It was horribly difficult, but she was in the top of her class after an intense week of study. So, congratulations, lover!
I spent a couple hours watching Chuck’s Roast after work. It was seriously, seriously funny to watch again. Sometimes the audio isn’t great, and sometimes the video isn’t great, but I know I’ll have a lot of fun putting it together. Which reminds me, I need that list of people participating, thatguychuck!
I sense a potential major change in the ol’ LJ after Penguicon. I might take some time with it, this time, maybe even port it into my sub-domain. For the rest of tonight, though, I think I’m going going to pick a random book from this fabulous pile I’ve never read.
We will never lose if we remove our shoes

I was really hoping that if I just waited the bathroom sessions would show up on the podcast, but I think there is now a marketing mysticism that says YouTube will work better because the kids live their youtube!.
Well frankly, BNL putting their video up on youtube will get them a much broader audience than on their own podcast.
‘course, I’d be happy if they did both.
YouTube should add PodCasting/RSS updating ability to its users’ options, if they haven’t already.
I’m sure it would get more eyeballs, but I’m not sure that’s going to be what’s best. I feel like the youtube demographic are pretty unlikely to pay for the music even if they decide that they like it.
Anyway, as you say they can just do both.
They’ve got podcasts as well, but I’m loving the bathroom sessions. SO good!
I’m glad that you talked with Hugh, I do so love that guy. It’s amazing how much you can track back to one person helping you, pointing you in the right direction, or just providing the most helpful feedback at the moment you needed it most.
