Brainwaves of Sken

Okay, I was tagged with the random 8 things meme, so I’ll go ahead and do that.

1. I’m eating mac n cheese with chicken bits (cut up from some in my freezer) and curry, along with orange juice.

2. I tried to get cable TV today. It would have been the first time I’ve had it in nine years, minus a few technicalities. I called up and after much negotiation, convinced the girl I really really did want what I asked for in the beginning, which was the absolute most basic cable TV plus cable internet, which comes out to… the same exact price I’m paying without. …. exceeeept there’s a 15 dollar charge for some dude to pull up in a truck and remove the trap (physical widget attached to the cable) that keeps me from getting it for free. FORGET IT! I’ve already paid too much for this phone call.

3. I love rosemary. I used to think I hate it, but I’ve discovered what it must be paired with to taste awesome – salty foods, like bread for instance. Rosemary on fish doesn’t interest me so much.

4. I prefer margarine to butter. Go ahead, gasp!

5. I’ve got my name on 3 business cards, 1 full-length movie, two wedding videos, and countless movie shorts.

6. Speaking of which, Ryan-Iver still has my garter belt, that bastard.

7. Lately, I’ve been pillaging, bilging and sailing. Sometimes I swordfight, but I’m mostly trying to rumble.

8. I’m almost always willing to talk. Okay, you know that, heh. I almost never put off writing an email response – either I respond right away, or I don’t at all.
