Hmmmm…

ILB v2.0?

I hope some of my more diligent friends will keep us livejournalers up-to-date on anything that transpires… *chuckle* Then again, last game’s players may be this game’s staff, who knows?

  1. As has become traditional, please allow me to disclaim any and all involvement beyond that of passionate observer. :)

    — Steve really wishes he could blow outta work early.

PS: Let’s see if this’ll take some of the edge off the Beta jones, now that us addicts are cut off at the source. *twitch*

    • I wish I could have gotten together with someone on the Beta while it was on. Alas!

      • It just occurs to me to ask if you’re on my Friends list already. If you don’t mind my asking, what’s you’re GT?

        — Steve’ll have to invite you if you’re not, because his inbox is perpetually crowded to the 100-member limit with folks making Friends requests. Odd that.

        • *chuckle* I don’t at all mind you asking, but I’m afraid Sgt ATDT not only doesn’t have a gamertag anymore, but he also doesn’t have an X-Box. Of any kind. I ebayed my halo xbox, games, et al. I did get about 160 for it, which was enough to make a Wii affordable. ;)

  2. Interesting. Thanks for the heads up.

  3. “Instructional Force” is so the name of my next band.

  4. Hmm. Just having read AdjutantReflex’s posts, I guess it’s playing as a Forerunner AI? Seems a little bit transparent that the posts are on Bungie’s forum, but maybe it’s the precursor to something else.

    • Thing is, if you’re going to make a trailhead for a halo ARG, it seems to me you need a sense of legitimacy. I mean, the original was splashed onto the Halo trailer, so it’s not like one didn’t know it had MS’s fingers all over it.

I was just telling Krystyn, though, that I feel a bit guilty for pegging it as ILB v2.0, simply because if it is an ARG for the next Halo, I seriously doubt it will be a sequel to the first ILB. And, in fact, I don’t think I’d want it to be a traditional sequel.

      • I don’t think that they could possibly follow ILB in any way and not accidently distill the original’s brilliance.

      • I don’t think it’ll be a direct or traditional sequel, but I’m guessing some of the same hands are behind this thanks to that “prognostication” post I made last April. (The one I linked to on my blog today.)

        — Steve’s chafing his hands in anticipation.

  5. Hmm, interesting.

  6. Hrm… The date doesn’t make much sense, though. Attempting to convert to days/years only makes sense when converting the margin of error.

Also, my R key has conspied against me, and only works every othe time.
