Beekeepers: I totally forgot to mention that Lucy named her pet rat Durga. Isn’t that just the sweetest thing ever?

I spent the evening eating chili-cheese burritos and watching Potter DVDs with benniferus and skyfire1228. I’ve been a bit too busy to upload photos from the weekend, but I’ll get to that when I can.

I’ve started a folder of tattoo images I really like for various reasons (lines, colors, design type).

My portfolio video is coming along well. I haven’t had any time since Sunday, but I’ve already come up with a few nice improvements.

My boss’s boss is calling me into his office in a few to do what’s known as a “deep dive”. Sounds kinda creepy, eh? It’s one of those goals analysis things, I believe. I have a few hardware/software suggestions to make for improving our product.

We’ll see what happens if/when we discuss that other thing.

  1. Are you thinking of getting some tattoos?

    • I have been considering something for awhile now.

(That’s purely a “sketch”, mind you – it would have to be reworked. I think I’d like the aurora to be done in blacklight ink.)

Money and a good recommendation from someone with proof on their bodies that I’d like the artist style has kept me from it. Which may or may not be for the best, I guess – Lucy suggested it was missing human warmth (considering what I want it to represent), and I can’t disagree with that.

Ah well, it’s a start. Meanwhile, discovering what I like on other people’s bodies helps me figure out what I’d like on mine.

  2. Did you make them yourself, or did you finally find a Taco Bell that still has Chili Cheese Burritos? If so, where?

Also, did you find another fencing glove, or did you still want to borrow mine?

    • I bought some cheap gloves from a truck stop on my way back from lansing, actually, but thank you!

There are three or four taco bells in Lansing that all serve Chili Cheese burritos. All of the local (east side) taco bells I’ve checked have looked at me like I was insane.
