Are any of you out there using Wesabe for financial stuffs? I’m considering it, but I want an opinion from my social web before I get into another social web. *laugh*

I’d not heard of it, but I checked it out. I’m not keen on the idea of uploading account information, but I’m probably just still “stick in the mud old school” about it. Just make sure to use your own good judgment when considering the advice and recommendations for others. I would imagine a site like that is a feasting ground for people trying to sell low rate debt CONsolidation, get rich quick scams, etc. If used wisely, though, most any site that keeps an individual financially focused and learning is a good thing. If you go for it, let me know how you like it!
I HIGHLY recommend checking out http://www.daveramsey.com, as you seem to be very interested in your financial future. As you know, I’m a huge fan of the guy, as he focuses on the behaviors that put us into debt, not just the numbers. His site is also free. Check it out. (The video clip “free cars for life” is particularly enlightening.) Yes, yes, I know, I’m a huge nerd….but I’ll be a huge nerd with no debt, 6 months of expenses saved in the bank, and a paid for house within the next 5-7 years. I’m all about being that nerd!
