Walken, 2008

You know, if Walken ran for office, I’d totally vote for him. Dead serious. Why do we even pretend that the presidency is about something other than image? We’ve had Rhodes scholars in office, and we don’t have flying cars and universal health care. We’ve had functional illiterates in office, and our society continues on, fucked-up as it may be.

So, why not? I mean, hell, I wouldn’t wish that job upon such a neat guy, but if he wanted it… I’d totally give it to him.

The funny thing is, I actually think he’d do a pretty good job.

“Walken seemed amused by the fake presidential campaign and, when prompted by O’Brien to come up with a fitting presidential campaign slogan for himself, replied with “What the Heck?”
