It’s the ‘feel’ of the day, you see.

Sundays have always been kind of irritating. On Sundays, mom would turn on her easy listening music and clean the house, so that’s firmly cemented in my mind. I’ve always been more-or-less irritated with the daily minutiae of life (cleaning, laundry, maintenance), and I prefer to have people with my alone time ;). Alas, everyone else is off having their alone-time alone. :D

I’ve lots I can do before I’ll be hitting up coffee in Ferndale with the ConVocation folks, but I look around and go, “… meh.” I’m almost annoyed with myself these days, for the amount of time I can waste woolgathering.

Okay, okay, enough griping, heh. Let’s see if I can start off with dishes, trash, and a little video capture.

  1. Yeah, I could never get the hang of Sundays (much like Arthur Dent and Tuesdays, I think it was). They always seem thick with obligation – a holdover from Sunday night crunches to get homework done for Monday morning, I think. The bittersweet, okay, more bitter than sweet, end of the weekend, the oncoming work/school week…

Yeah, not my favorite day, though I’ve come to appreciate more calm and laid back Sundays as I’ve gotten older.

I hear ya on the woolgathering (I haven’t heard that phrase in a while – nice!) – I’m prone to it as well. :-/

  2. I can totally relate to what you are saying. Totally on that same page as you.

I hope your weekend went well.
