The internet saved my life!

So in my dream last night I was spending the summer with a bunch of kids in a camp-style situation, there was this big white house, and on the side of it, a fairly large hill that sloped down and under a section of it.

I was laying there chatting with the ‘jack of all trades’ guy, who looked like the janitor in Scrubs, and we noticed a couple of white spiders with black markings that looked like the cavities in a skull. I realized I got bitten on the inner elbow, and my hands were starting to go numb!

Clearly, time’s of the essence! I sit upright and shout, “the internet!” and run into the house to find my laptop.

I woke up shortly thereafter to realize I’d slept on my hands funny.

Lucy pointed out it was an excellent dream for Halloween Night.

In other scary news, AutoNews just posted this bulletin:

Chrysler cuts four models, five shifts
Up to 10,000 hourly jobs and 1,000 salaried jobs being cut; overtime eliminated

  1. Weird. I also had a strange dream last night and woke up with numb hands. Coincidence?

    Probably.

    • “The alarm went off and I awoke feeling needlessly jittery and anxious. And my hands were completely numb, as if I had been sleeping on top of them. I had to slap at the snooze button a couple of times to get my half-dead, unresponsive hand-flippers to make the noise stop.”

Best thing I’ve heard all day. :D
