ConFusion was, as ever, something else entirely. I’m still perpetually unable to commit to Con until the very day, so I paid full price, and I still prefer to volunteer as I’m needed, so I didn’t keep track of my hours.
Lucy and I made our way to most of the parties, including the Serenity/Crampton party, which was generally full of hot girls, cool chocolate, and all the Jewel Staite you can stand (I can withstand about 3 metric tonnes, for the record). We hot-tubbed, we free-hugged, we time-warped.
I got dragged into an improv panel, which was a pretty hilarious way to spend an hour. I do much better off-the-cuff than I do on stage; twice I found myself blanking.
We picked up a few books, and Lucy bought me a lovely bauble – it’s a round glass container-with-cork contained in leather, and I have many fun ideas for it. Most of which involve the blood of the rare and mighty Glow Stick.
Our evening-out dinners were with Ed and co. one night and with Skipford J the next. We did not understand the true nature of the word cold until that latter night, when we had the crazy idea of walking across the street to Champp’s. We’re talking 100 yards tops, and yet we barely made it alive, despite my massive internal heater and total willingness to cut Dave open like a tonton, if necessary.
I was so busy videotaping that I only took five pictures! FIVE! Four of them were of hot women, naturally, and one was of Stitch reading a book. That crazy stitch!
I have to say that I’m having more fun at ConFusion now than I did when I first started going, 12 years ago, so I guess we’ll just stick to that trend until I explode with joy. No pictures, please.

Tauntaun, for the record. =P
I was waiting for your response :)
I felt it necessary to dangle another wiki link for your temptation. XD
I don’t suppose you know the current whereabouts of Stitch?
He may have been taken “hostage.”
He was under‘s recognizance, last I saw.
He had escaped/been taken hostage from her last I heard.
My friend on Mackinac Island was wanting someone to go and give her a report…though I had no money for it ;p Jewel Staite?
As a general rule though I find cute girls love Firefly!
Thank you for all your help!
I hear ya. We find that we’ve been committing when tickets are $35 which isn’t full price but still isn’t the crazy $25 level (except Minion insists we register for Penguicon as soon as the table is up on Sunday because he threw a tantrum when I even implied that we might not be going once).
Actually I was three hours into volunteering and my brother had totally completed his stint (as master of the B-movie room) by the time it got drummed into me that I might want a sheet.
