Polish food reference in AN

” … makes great krushiki, which is a Polish crispy wings thing, with pastry. It’s great.”

Hmm, I don’t think I’ve ever had that. I wonder if there’s a place that does that in ham-town.

OH. Angel wings. Yeah, had those. *duh* Seriously, I thought he meant like chicken wing pastry. *headdesk*

  3. Polish food in Hamtramck? That’s just crazy talk.

  4. I heart kruschiki, but I would always wear something dark when I happened upon them, which meant I would get maximum powdered sugar all over myself when attempting to enjoy the pastry.

  5. Angel Wings? Damn near any of the bakeries.
they are a paper thin pastry that is deep fried in lard and covered in powder sugar.
Not hard to make, just takes a good bit of time.
