Woohoo!
Lucy’s sister was leaving this morning – I totally used it as an excuse to work from home.
I am, though, still working, boo. *s* It was a great weekend, full of crazy fun experiences – Jer and I teamed up to form “Your Mom(ma)” at MedKat’s birthday Field Day Experiencestravaganza, wherein we approached every obstacle with style and grace, and good sportsmanship.
Of course, Brenna and Bridgit nearly wiped the floor with us (Brenna’s 4, Brigit is 8). They’d race ahead of us, with their amazing powers of childhood (aka, I’m too cute to be blasted off the field), when some other chumps would actually try to win it! Can you believe the nerve?
We couldn’t let that happen, though – our masculine egos could not accept losing, people might question our turgid maleness, and then our fashion sense, and it would be all downhill from there. So, we leaped forward like conjoined Donkey Kong twins to take the spotlight as “Team Most Likely to Wear Their Outfits After Labor Day”.
I love watching the video – we deliberately threw events in order to pummel Jessi and Sherli. We conspired during the balloon toss – I convinced the refs to start the balloon on my side so I could toss it to Jer and he could lob it straight at Jessi. SUCCESS!
They totally got us back during the three-legged race. We were on our second heat, sure to gain the lead, and you can see them plotting less than six inches behind us as the race begins, and when we turn around, in the lead, WHAM! jerks!
Anyway, Medkat’s party was awesome.
Sunday, a bunch of us had indian food, played rock band, and pretty much had a low-key veg out talk day, and then Jer, Ger, Lucy, her sister Libby and I played putt putt and had Wendy’s desserts.
The End!

I’m so glad to have weekends like this! It was made of awesome!
Man, you’re fast! ;)
That’s, er, what I’m told!
I mean, wait. Jer’s faster!
Awesome. That was so much fun.
Full of awesomeness and Win I tell you!
And, we only cheated After Jer cheated. :P
What’s with the redhead explosion? Genetic relation or troublemaker confluence?
Genetics, I believe.
