I didn’t see any fireworks this weekend that didn’t happen outside of a car window, but I did eat fabulous food and hang out with fabulous people. Oh, I also got volunteered for more stuff, and kicked a little ass at good ol’ Quake III, got my ass handed back to me in Warsow, and made up for my abysmal last performance in Apples to Apples.

Also, I met a dude who remembered me from having been in my house once when we were 16. He’d been taken there by a girl who, at the time, I had only known as Tits of Doom. Ahh, the BBS days.

For those of you keeping track, Lucy is still adorable. Carry on.

  1. Strange. I don’t recall seeing any fireworks either. First time ever, I think.

That was my worst Apples to Apples game. I blame other people being way funnier.

  2. We heard echoes of fireworks on the 4th from the inside of a Meijer. We didn’t want to mess with the traffic, and took advantage of a nearly empty shopping center.

  3. “Tits of Doom.” Laugh. I had never heard the handle, but it’s fitting.

Glad you saw again. He’s going to be standing up in my wedding. :)

    • That dude is standing up in everyone’s wedding. ;)

Srsly, I can’t believe he remembered my name (especially since I look so much different than I did at 16, really).

Was sorry to hear about how ToD ended up. Sorry, but not entirely shocked.
