I tend to walk around singing to myself, using lyrics that have never existed in life.

Yep, me too. I sing silly songs to my cats a lot, too. :)

I sing to my cats constantly. I’m not a good singer, but they seem to like it.
Give a little kit.. Give a little kitten a place to sleep Give a little kit… Give a little kitten some food to eat

I think that the cats don’t really understand what we’re saying exactly, but view the singing as a form of adoration/worship, which we all know that cats can’t get enough of. :)

Sometimes when I’m IMing to Randy, I’ll sing/IM:
“This is the dawning of the age of the bradakis, age of the bradakiiiiiiis …. BRADAKIIIIS! bra-da-kiiiiis!”

That’s great. But how come I don’t have a theme song?

It’s The Family Song. He just happens to be the one I was singing it to.

I also have no idea where the words to the songs I sing have come from.

I have found myself singing random songs when I put Nikki’s youngest, Aidan, to bed. Talk about spooking myself. Heh.
