I’m quite pleased about work today.
Admittedly, I wasn’t attempting to train anyone while editing (you really can’t both finish a project in 3 hours AND train someone), but we nailed the timing on everything – interviews shot by 11, host shot at 11:30, editing by 12 (well, 12:15), finished for review at 3, changes made by 3:15, and the button was pressed for finalizing thereafter.
So it should finish by 3:45, and I can get it online by 4 pm, aka The Hard Deadline.
Whew. I mean, at least it proves that (with a script of the right length) it’s possible.
Yay accomplishment!
