As soon as 7 people on my flist post, the 1700 wide penny arcade graphic will disappear from my LJ and I can read it like a normal human being instead of stretching it over my dual monitors like a total asshat.

PS I’m tired this morning. boo. I need to get a new primary doc ’cause mine lives an hour away from me, and that is frustrating and annoying. I need a closer allergist so I can go back on the shots. I need the shop to give me back my frickin’ car. And that is all I need at this moment!

Just a statement of general confusion :) Now that I’ve had more coffee, I figured out:
1. You must subscribe to PA on LJ.
2. The comic appears very large and skews your browser
3. Once 7 more people post, it will move out of the top 25, thereby freeing you for LJ reading convenience.
Believe it or not, these simple concepts mystified me when I first saw your post this morning…

Add the FireFox addon “Nuke Anything Enhanced”. You can right click on any DOM element and select “Remove this object.”
Its great for NSFW images in articles, or for tearing apart webpages to see how they’re built up.
That’s a good idea. I’m trying not to bulk up my FF too mcuh at work, though – I already use a heapload.

There are a couple of LJ styles that will put a horizontal scroll bar into posts that are too wide. I was in heaven when I discovered the one I use.
