  1. That said, it’s not “real chai” or anything – I wouldn’t pick this up instead of making chai. But for an energy drink, it is head and shoulders above the typical fare.

  2. In tangentially related news, I tried Amp’s new black tea “rebuild” energy
drink for the first time the other day. Really liked it, but it could
also be described as tea-esque — it tasted a lot like a carbonated
    lemonade & tea mix.

    • And in a note of Dear god, do not ingest!, I would pass on the Lipton Green Tea. Compared to Arizona’s Green Tea, it is super-sweet and super-strong – americanized green tea, I suppose.

      • Good call. The Lipton Green Tea with Citrus is tasty, but not in a green tea way at all to me.

It’s sorta like how sometimes I want pizza, sometimes I want Little Sleazer’s. They’re similar, but Little Sleazer’s is not actual pizza.

On another note, Monster’s Java line is pretty decent too for a chilled coffee drink.

  3. I dunno, I think the Chai Monster drink is way too sweet. The Mocha one hits the right spot for me, most of the others I just can’t stomach. Except the regular one with the blue logo.

  4. Chai Tea is definitely one of my favourite Chinese meditative arts.
