1. I love it. Newscast blunders are so much fun. I know for you it’s a matter of quality, and I am not disparaging that, but it just makes me smile. Especially when he says, “Everything’s covered in orange!”

5. I sent that to my supervisor (the department’s computer vision specialist) a couple of weeks back. There’s every chance that it may end up in a lecture on background subtraction :-)
