workign on it, trying to get pics off my cell, emailed to my hoem account, which will be forwarded to my gmail account.. as I can’t find the “_” on this friggin keypad..

send it as a text message to your email address! That’s what I do. Actually, I can also email it to picasa, though that requires some setup.

Ok, I feel like a n00b, but I have no idea how to do that. I don’t have internet on my phone.

Don’t have to have internet on your phone, at least if you have verizon (I think it works the same for everyone, but I don’t know).
Instead of putting in a phone number when you go to send a photo message, type in an email address on your phone. Should work, even without internets!
