  1. Win.

    (lol…. had to… :-p)

  2. It’s played out, see. Jumped the shark, as it were. I know it makes me a horrible human being to even consider it, but “This.” as a response seems so insufferably smug without contributing anything.

It has an entirely different attitude and tone than “I totally agree with everything you said here.”

  3. Hahahahaa i love it. And i also find it annoying, but can’t help but use all three on occasion. Sometimes “This.” is all you can really say about something.

  4. Two things I find insufferable:

    The entire “fail” concept.

Indicating that any specific phrase/sentence/idea/thought/word is verboten unilaterally.

Both betray an unimaginative mind; the same degree of unimaginative that quotes that trope about cursing being an indicator of a poor vocabulary.

Sometimes, “fail” has its place. As does “True.”, “This.”, “Srsly?”, and a host of others.

  5. (For the record, the thing that has *really* jumped the shark—aside, that is, from the insufferable phrase ‘jumped the shark’—stick figure comics!)

  6. Hoo-ray and up she rises…

I concur with the content in this post :-)

(Also, “YARLY” makes me think about the time of the day in which pirates determine what action shall be taken regarding a drunken sailor.)

  7. Oh yes. Yes!
