Check out this polymer!

I totally want to see what it can do.

Here’s a useful sort of review on it:

EDIT: They sold out of their first batch of 1,000 in six hours!

  1. Oooo…. that looks fun :-) It’s like play-dough for grown ups!

  2. I love the way she says stuff.

Immediately, I want to make little feet for my laptop – larger feet in back, to prop it up a little when I don’t have my laptop stand (like today).

I’d use it to fix my headphones, I think, in a way more attractive and flexible than the black duct tape on them now.

  3. Do you have to mix it like epoxy putty? Does it come in any other color than red?

    • Looks like it comes in a number of bright colors (promoted toward people who like it to be obvious), as well as black.

And according to the how-to video, it comes prepackaged – you cut open the pack and mold it in your hands for 30 seconds or so, and it uses the moisture in the air to start curing in 30 minutes, finish in 24 hrs.

    • I answered my own questions by poking around a bit on their site. There seems to be several colors. And it is not an epoxy so doesn’t need to be mixed, just kneaded.

  4. OMG!

That is so freaking cool. I can think of at least a dozen things to do with it right away. :)

Do they sell it by the case? We should order some for Penguicon!

*hugs* for being cute and excited about things. I love that about you. :)

  5. waaaaaaaaaant.

Also, her accent is adorable. I wish my voice was more interesting.
