Gmail has some awesome “Labs” features

I haven’t been in there in awhile to play, but I’ve just added a bunch and I’m excited to see how they work.  Some of these add surprising depth to Gmail. There are even more that I’m not currently using that are all about anticipating your needs, such as automatic language translation.

YouTube previews in mail

Shows a video preview whenever you receive a YouTube link in an email.
 

Picasa previews in mail

Flickr previews in mail

Google Voice player in mail (not that I need it yet)

Google Docs previews in mail

Navbar drag and drop

Allows you to reorder the items in your navbar using drag and drop.
 

Forgotten Attachment Detector

Custom Label Colors

Inbox preview

Show a simple, static preview of the inbox while loading.
 

Create a Document

Allows you to create a Google Document from an email conversation
 

Authentication icon for verified senders

Send & Archive

Adds a button to the compose form that lets you send a reply message and archive the email conversation in a single action.
 

Undo Send

Oops, hit "Send" too soon? Stop messages from being sent for a few seconds after hitting the send button.
 

Title Tweaks

Changes order of elements in the browser title bar from "Gmail – Inbox (20) – xyy@gmail.com" to "Inbox (20) – xyy@gmail.com – Gmail".
