To the LJ people who don’t get my awesome links on facebook:

I made a playlist of potential wedding songs!

What fun and/or beautiful songs am I missing? “Traditional” wedding songs are for the birds. If my sweetie wants me to do the electric slide, I will, but we will pretend it never happened!

Bonus points (haha) go to, y’know, songs we’ve jammed to on Rock Band, songs from our child/teenhood, and songs about joyful relationships.

      • Alright, crack-smokers, you’re using the playlist wrong. Are you sure you aren’t watching RELATED VIDEOS instead of PLAYLIST VIDEOS?

        There is only ONE weezer song on the playlist.

        • The little button on the right that says “Kennedy Wedding” that only has 5 songs in it and ends w/ “She blinded me with Science”??

          • I see a box that says “Kennedy wedding” as a link, and inside the box are 20 videos, with a “See all 24!” at the bottom. If you click on the kennedy wedding link, you’ll get another way of looking at all 24 thus-far-chosen musics. :)

  3. Oh thank God. I made the same mistake, and was thinking “All he wants to play at his wedding is weezer, supergrass and ben folds?”

    Good start, but I have to say: What, no Time Warp?? :)

    And I wouldn’t discount the crowd favourites. I mean, our DJ played that God-awful Kid Rock ripoff of “Sweet Home Alabamba”, but MAN our guests loved it, and a ton of people packed on the dance floor. We just kinda shrugged and went outside to get some air.

    At the end of the day, I wanted it to be about all the people who were coming to celebrate with us, so I made some decisions that went against my initial thoughts about a wedding should be.

  4. Ah, now I understand. I was perplexed by all the Weezer, and the lack of TMBG. I feel better now that I see Birdhouse on the list. ;)

    Hm, maybe something Luna-esque… Temple of Love perhaps?
