Router + hard drive doldrums

If any of you linux gurus think you can help me patch the kernal on my dd-wrt router to recognize NTFS hard drives, please let me know. I’ll totally feed you. :D

  1. yup, likely.

  2. yup, likely.

  3. Mmm, the WRTs are amazing (in fact, I’m writing a story in which they’re a major character ;) …but NTFS is not, and its tendency to be incompatible with anything not explicitly Microsoft is one of the ickier things about it. Getting ext3 to run under M$ (shockingly, it’s the more cross-compatible of the formats) will probably be easier, and should work with your awesometastic router.

Good luck! You’ll have to feed me later, though. ;)
