Today’s Drug of Choice
Compensation
I really, really need new clothes. Seriously.
I was in a great mood this morning, but that seems to be killed. Let’s try to get rid of that by recalling the good stuff I haven’t commented on.
A couple of nights ago, I met Diana and Pete at their house, wherein Diana gave me a blissful massage (table, towel and all). She’s focused more on therapy, and said she couldn’t remember as much about relaxation massage, but I think she did just fine. Maybe we can trade some notes, since I do tend to put people to sleep. Oh wait, that’s my conversation. We went to Pizza House as the second part of my graduation present, and it was just an excellent time overall.
Last night, Eli, Ben and I went to the Michigan Theatre for the 1924 silent version of Peter Pan, with the Ann Arbor Symphony playing below. This was the kind of sold-out family event where the kids booed and hissed Captain Hook and cheered the Lost Boys, and it was just a wonderful time. We walked across the quad to… yes, you guessed it, Pizza House again, laughed ourselves silly about Turtle Face, and made the trek back to the car in good order. It was nice to get some exercise (for me anyway, they were whiners).
Now. Just like girls and chocolate, I’m going to heat up Pizza House for lunch and hope it lightens my mood.
So yeah I’m a total pain in the ass.. but do you know around when on Sunday so I can plan around it?
It doesn’t matter, more or less. 2 or 3pm works fine for me.
Do you want to meet me at 2 then and drive out to the place? I can pick you up at SK’s if that’s where you are going to be.
It’s a good place to meet. I will probably have convinced my buddy and fellow documentarian Ben to drive up from AA, I’d like to have him here for this, since I’ll be needing his help.
