So, I’m not going to be on for IM fun today or tomorrow. Gotta be at work extra early for training on the new system. *sigh* Feels pointless, since I want another job anyway, but it’ll be fun to compare notes with juniper200.

On that note, I’d best be off. The day has started out well, with early-morning affection, plenty of sleep, and a stronger constitution. God-damn right, it’s a beautiful day.

  1. Your reply option says “What do you think?”

What I think is “No IMing? *gasp* *panic attack* *tantrum*” oh wait…you still have your phone. Ok…no problem.

It’s just a pity that there’s not a way to conference text on your phone like we did via IM yesterday. That always makes the day fly!

I’ll talk to you later tonight, then. Enjoy your training.

    • I was afraid that I was going to be way behind, since my bosses have both been through this training in the past, however… no. Perhaps it’s because the guy who is doing the training has only been there for 8 months, and is from “support” instead of “implementation”.

*grins* Yes, I am still available via text. I don’t know how I could possibly have a bad day with you and Alice having my back.

  2. We’re getting end-user training from superusers who got a week of proper training last month. Take good notes — I’m sure I’ll need them.

    • I’m on the superuser end – but I’ll be getting two days, because I still handle production. I have some paperwork that’ll make things easier.

Thus far, it’s a total snap :) He’s kind of confusing, but I’ve had fun laying out analogies whenever people start acting confused that clear things up.

I’ve got the advantage of being a web guy by trade, and already using a content management system daily, and having already built my own sites using server-side includes.

Lunch is tasty. turkey chili, club sandwich, some sort of salat (potato?) a cookie, an apple, fritos, a pickle… *L*
