Phone home! (also, the BS party)

Yes indeed, I had decided I was going to hook up my cable to extract the photos from last night’s party while at work, which is why (of course) I forgot my phone at home today.

netmouse invited me to her friend Matt’s Billionth-Second party, and it sounded like a groovy time, so I met her, novapsyche and rikhei at Quizno’s, just north of the party. Between the 4 of us, we had a steady torrent of giggling going on, replete with random hand gestures.

The party itself was quite entertaining, particularly since I’ve seen a number of the people there at Con before, though we’d never been introduced.

I was really tickled by their tendency to break out, randomly, into song. People after me own heart! (or me lucky charms. either, really.) Matt had an excellent book collection, which I know well because we carried them out and drove them to Chuck’s house… and then put them right in netmouse‘s car, ’cause he’d gone for booty or something *eg*. Perhaps next time we’re going to Chuck’s house, we’ll think of calling Chuck. ;D

There was also much cuddlage, particularly a 4-person couchpile, and I generally consider that part-and-parcel for a good party. Congrats on surviving more than 1 billion seconds, Matt!

(NOTE: if I was supposed to hang out with you after work, I wouldn’t know, ’cause the planner is the phone and the phone is the planner. So I presume I have no plans. If ye’d like to come over, watch a movie, chill out with a board game or hot chocolate, leave me an email – I’m wanting a little one-on-one socializing.)
