Also, Microsoft takes on Google Earth with Virtual Earth 3D – Okay, come on now, people. I was excited about the 3D earth projects, for sure, but can anyone come up with an original idea these days? *rolls eyes* Is there room for a microsoft product in such a relatively tiny market?
Also, U.S. experiment uses AIDS to fight AIDS – This is the best news I’ve heard in a long time.
I’m going to L-town tonight, I probably won’t be keeping up on the minute-by-minute blows of the election tonight. You’ll let me know if the world explodes, right?

I have another friend on my list who was going through the silent_and_calm ordeal. She contacted LiveJournal about it and posted their response… basically saying there was nothing they could do.
Voting and…who knows. Stuff at home probably.
I haven’t been added by that person at all. He/she/it sounds pretty caustic.
The thing I don’t like about reading my LJ comments in Gmail is that sometimes, like this one right here, the actual comment “disappears” and I have to go to my journal to read it.
Strange. I read mine in hotmail and never had a problem (barring the few times LJ doesn’t actually send a comment notification).
It happened -again- with yours, too. weeeeird. Yeah, the notification email is there, but where your text should be? nothing.

My day is going well, I think. I voted this morning before work, and I look pretty damned good today. I FEEL good today.
After work, I’ll likely go home and put sweats on, be comfortable, watch HOUSE on TV if I feel like it, maybe make dinner, and do some beadwork if the mood strikes. Or not. A lazy night sounds good.
Work. Meh. I’m exhausted and practically drooling on my keyboard. After that maybe a quick nap then dinner with A/R and maybe a movie. It was supposed to be playtime in the AR dungeon but with everything yesterday I’m really not feeling very playful.
*nod* I saw there was something going on with watching Countdown and all of that election crap…. so, maybe.

Im still trying to properly review Vitural Earth, but all the requirements pretty much make it impossable at work as we have not moved to SP2 yet. (I dont know why) so I can not test their claim that government againces can use it to manage their information and unlike Google Earth, a tool of the terrorists, Virtual Earth is used to fight terrorisim!
And I thought the political fear mongering was left to the republicans.
Today is going well so far. My plan for the day is:
– vote (done! Yay!)
– finish writing proposal (sooooooooo not done)
– have food (I’m set to make a tasty beef stew for dinner tonight)
– watch House on dvd
– try to understand statistics a little more, ’cause it makes my head hurt
– catch up on emailing responses and requests for information
And, I’d never heard of before now. I saw that article on the new AIDS therapy – rock! I had hoped that they would get better success using a modified virus to kill the others.
