That is more believable than the idea that people carried several tons of blocks from hundreds of miles away.
Well, the bottom stones were quarried, but they did not set up giant ramps like suggested – they brought a limestone slurry up, set up wood forms, and let it set. there are bubbles at the top and a more dense base for the top stones, where the other stones are even.
I remember hearing about this theory years ago, on Art Bell’s radio show no less!
