It’s a cool 71 degrees today.
I might wear long sleeves, perhaps, when I go out later.
The sun isn’t ready to set yet, but it’s starting to get lower in the sky, and the mountains are clear from my view out the 27th floor.

The white roses in the cobalt vase Lucy sent me are particularly beautiful against the backdrop of the city.
At night, the moon looks to be so close, I could reach out and pull it into my room.
Work is completely exhausting. I have spent most of my trip recording video, and will be spending most of the rest of the trip editing it. The recording process generally involves racing to a hotel across town, locating my interviewer, setting up a (very) impromptu background, prepping both the guest and (often very new-to-video) interviewer, record a second angle for the re-ask, and find time much later to record B-roll from the show floor. I can’t think of two interviews that actually happened consecutively in the same area.

I took some pictures, and shot much in the way of “funtime” video, so I’ll put that together sometime for everyone to laugh at. I’ll also write a longer post, I’m sure, at some point.
As for now, I’m going to finish up the things I was doing, and then head down to the pool area. I’d like to do the hot tub thing before hitting up The Venetian with K.T. and her coworkers for dinner.
I fly to Chicago for the second leg on Tuesday.
