Now when you take me by the hooves …
There are those of you who were … skeptical that there was a ‘rear entry’ reference in the song Hey, Mickey!. The whole song’s about convincing your boyfriend to have sex, and this particular line’s just a little stinger (heh) that you aren’t meant to catch right off the bat, methinks. I think it makes this cheery little song that much more entertaining. ;)
I believe the logic given was that you’d have heard it already by now, but I’d like to clear this up once and for all. :D
Now when you take me by the hooves,
Who evers gonna know?
Every time you move,
I let a little more show!
There’s something you can use,
So please don’t say ‘no’ Mickey! So come on, and give it to me
Anyway you can.
Anyway you wanna do it,
I’ll take it like a man!
So please, baby, please
Don’t leave me in the [damn/down], Mickey!

I accept your analysis. I am now busy rethinking my childhood enthusiasm for that song.
Your enthusiasm should only grow!
er.
You know what I mean. :)
I skimmed this response at first, until I thought I read “I accept your analysis. I am now busy writing my thesis…”
IF I NEVER HAVE THIS SUNG TO ME AGAIN, IT WILL BE TOO SOON.
That and “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number”.
C’mon, though, rear entry!
I do not know what you are referring to.
I would say, by the look of that icon, that you do.
i never had a problem convincing my boyfriends to have sex. i don’t know what Toni’s deal is? hehe
I had to download this song and listen to it as I was reading this.
Oh my. This song just changed a lot.
There’s a few people I need to share this with. Laugh!
“Taking it like a man”…..
and see…..If you looks at it in terms of the the female being the sexual aggressor, she is the one falling into the stereotypical male roll of begging for sex……
So I don’t see it as a reference to anal sex, but more of a shaming tactic, as to say that she is ready and will for sex, so why isn’t a “red blooded American male”
Unless Micky is gay…..
Re: "Taking it like a man"…..
Wouldn’t you say the stereotypical male role isn’t begging for sex, thus the word aggressor?
