Yums
Ahh, this was a great lunch. A few people from work went to Honey Bee market in Mexicantown, and they have a grill in back of the deli where they make excellent tacos with beans and rice. It’s definitely the best beef I’ve had in a taco as far as quality goes (I still prefer spicier meat).
I also bought cinnamon chips and a 12-oz glass bottle of coke (made from sugar! imagine that).

I <3 MEXICAN TOWN SO HARD!
I first encountered Coke made with real sugar in Canada, and again in the UK. I like it alot better than the corn syrup one usually gets in the US. I don’t drink a whole lot of Coke these days but if I had access to the sugar stuff I’d have a harder time resisting. Knowing what it COULD taste like makes the other easier to pass up. :)
Had a lapse in thinking, and totally read that as a sugar-glass bottle of coke, instead of a glass bottle of sugar-coke. You know – so you could realistically break it over someones head.
If such a need arose.
I’m just sayin’, is all.
Real sugar Coke? Wait…where is this place? My friend in WI adores Coke with real sugar, and I’d love to pick some up for him.

*hugs* Hi there! It’s in Mexicantown, so just south of Michigan Central Station. It’s called the Honeybee Market. could give you more exact directions!
Thanks so very much! *squee*
It’s in Mexicantown but on the side where Mexican Village restaurant is, not over by Los Galanes/Xochi area. If you take 75 South to Rosa Parks and then you go up to the first road you can turn left on (Wabash or 14th, I forget?) and go left, you go by the old train station, and that road dead ends at Bagley. You go right, and it is on the left just over the hill. :)

Or that is probably easier! :D

Oh, thank you so much! I very much appreciate it, sweetie. *hugs back*
