I have a new phone!
It’s the eNV. I hate the name of it, but whatever. Circuit City is doing a deal (like, 100 bucks less than the verizon store) on them until the end of the month, so with my “new every two” from Verizon, I ended up paying $50, and with the mail-in rebate it’ll be free!
Finally, a non-broken phone. It takes fairly pretty pictures, too, and even has a little flash and “night mode”. And a keyboard. And AIM and Yahoo!
So, if you see my work IM on during non-work hours, it’s probably actually the cell. I have unlimited texts, photos, and video, so don’t be shy. :)

Ooohhhh I am totally thinking about upgrading my phone to that!! ‘Cause it would be like, nothing with my upgrade I have in January and it has a keyboard and looks cute.
Is AIM and Yahoo extra? Or do they count towards the text plan?
They count toward the text plan. Which is why I got the unlimited text plan.
This particular discount deal will expire at the end of the month, but by that time in 2 months, it should be way less expensive anyway.
Verizon always seems to be running a deal on that phone. Even if it’s $50, I’m okay with that. I’ll gladly pay $50 for the full keyboard. Seriously. And I have the unlimited Verizon to Verizon txt & 500 otherwise txt plan. If I went over that in a month I’d get the unlimited txt instead.
Keep me updated on how you like it :) the big things I want are keyboard, phone, and being able to hear people. Which I’ve had problems with in the past. Not with my current phone but still. Oh and no flip phone. SO SICK of that. This one slides right? As long as I can make calls or pick up calls without having to flip or slide, I’d be happy. I don’t mind it to get to the keyboard.
Oh! And it has an alarm feature right? I’d die without that.
Yeah, 3 alarms, it opens like a book with a REALLY solid hinge (thank goodness), a screen on the outside and inside, dialpad on the front, and the first thing I had to do when I answered my first phone call was turn the volume wayyyy down.
So I think you’ll be good.
Sounds perfect! I’m excited. I probably cannot afford (nor do I want to ask my parents for) a new iPod. Even though I really really really really want it. I also want to be smart about money. I’d much rather have it to like, eat food. But, I’ve had my current phone for a long time. I think longer than the 2 year renewal thing because we did something funky with my upgrade so my brother could have it.
Anyway. A new phone will be toy enough for me for now! The keyboard thing is the biggest issue. Need. Keyboard. That totally thrills me :)
i’ve been looking at this one too! I’d sort of like something with a web browser, but those are all so much more expensive…
Yeah, it’d be perfect if it had an actual web browser – but – I’ll forgo that for now. My BIGGEST gripe is wanting a keyboard. I do text a quite a bit and I HATE the stupid regular keypad. I mean. Ew.
It does have a web browser – it’s just extra.
I think Chad and I mean a REAL browser – not the stupid Verizon Mobile crap thing they make you use.
At least, that’s what I mean. Something that views ACTUAL webpages – not “mobile web”.
Yah, I think Chad and I mean an ACTUAL web browser – not “mobile web”. At least, that is what I mean.
Fair nuff.
I like your new phone Scott!!
I also wanted to let you know that it was nice seeing you again! Cheryl is back from her honeymoon, it sounds like she had a good time.
Well I will talk to you later!
Thanky! Tell her I expect pictures!
*hugs*
Yeah, it was fun seeing all of you! And you got out on the dance floor, very impressive. ;)
Yeah with Jeff no less!
