I updated my Christmas photos with a few from Christmas Day, but I was mostly too busy opening presents to take pictures. :)
I’m pretty geeked with my loot, and I think my mom was fairly pleased as well. Whew! We had “The Breakfast Dish” for both breakfast and lunch – have I mentioned it’s one of my absolute favorite meals, ever?
I work in the morning, naturally, which would be more irritating if my boss wasn’t gone for the rest of the week. In fact, it’ll be much of a graveyard at work.
I’ll be with Lucy’s family on the 29th, doing the holiday party thing, and that’ll be some fun – they play games (board and card), which is totally up my alley.
I have a sweet-ass (though somewhat small) flat-panel HDTV, which takes the place of my old TV which was large but nearly entirely unusable. I also got a tiny, tiny, TINY video camera that records onto SD cards. It’s smaller than some of my wallets! Speaking of which, I have an awesome new wallet, too.
One thing I totally forgot to post when I came back from Denver: The Denver TSA people are absolutely the nicest and most friendly TSA people I’ve ever encountered in any of my flights. Perhaps it was because it was in the middle of the week, nearly dead, or my santa hat, but it was really great to share a few laughs on the way to the plane.
Merry Christmas, folks.

Hey! I got a question for ya – when are you heading down to see Lucy’s family and when are you coming back? Some friends of mine are getting together in Akron but I’m not sure if the honey wants to go – thought maybe I could catch a ride out that way with you.
I am thinking of leaving EARLY Saturday morning. I’ll probably be returning some time on the 31st.
Would your friends be interested in picking you up from Strongsville? It’s about a 45 minute drive. I could do it otherwise, probably after picking up Lucy, but the big question is, would you be getting a ride to my place beforehand?
Nevvermind! I can’t stay all weekend – teh bathroom, ya know. No worries! *hugs*
I <3 the Denver airport, at least as far as airports go. Smoothest layover EVAH!!!!
NOLA airport has some friendly-ass people too. This lady wanted to totally break all the rules and meet her daughter at the gate so she could help her with car seats, and they were all like “no, that’s not allowed, but go ahead!!!!”
So like, you can exchange that TV for a bigger one, if you’re willing to pay the difference… I can’t imagine any electronics stores being upset about that deal. :)
Sure I could. I don’t know if I’m willing to pay the same amount again that my mom paid for this one, whatever it was.
Merry Christmas!
