OpenDNS looks pretty cool. Does anyone have any experience with it?
Autocorrection of typo web addresses, as well as blocking known scam sites? That sounds totally groovy.

I think does?
I used them for a while, but didn’t see any serious gain for my lame little cable internet connection. I think I’m back to the automatic ones, since I switched routers. I’ll probably go back and try them again.
I’d like to hear how it works for people since !. Comcasts used to go down about one a month (though that has not happened in a long while) and at my parents place verizon likes to redirect anything it does not have an entry for it it’s sponsored search page. Which I hate. Especially because safari knows to just add the URL bookends to a word I type in – but only if the DNS reports back empty.
