TV via internet
Someone once clued me in to where I could watch (perhaps download? don’t recall) TV shows over the internet, and I don’t remember where it was.
See, I don’t have TiVo or anything like it – heck, I don’t even have digital cable. However, I’m intruiged by both Smash Lab and Lewis Black’s upcoming show, Root of all Evil, and yet I just never seem to be home at that time.
I’m downloading shows via shareaza, but I thought there might be a better way.

I believe this was me. You want to check out the rss feeds via http://tvrss.net/
And then you need Azureus with the rss scanner plugin. http://azureus.sourceforge.net/plugin_details.php?plugin=rssfeed
That’s how we watch everything because we don’t even have a TV!
You can also plug those into Miro, which does RSS by default:
http://www.getmiro.com/
Used to be able to goto tv-links.co.uk. That got shutdown tho.
http://www.tv-links.cc/
http://www.bspcn.com/2007/10/22/38-sites-to-replace-tv-links/
surf the channel.
i think it’s where everything went once tv links got shut down.
I might be able to get you an invite to TVtorrent.com if you need.
IMHO, Smash Lab isn’t worth the effort to obtain. It’s wannabe Mythbusters, but without all the anoying creativity or interesting characters. heh
point taken. i’ve seen all the MB
mininova.org – its just a pure bittorrent search, so you need your own client (i just use the standard one from bittorrent.com themselves)
