I knew I was in for a good morning when I offered her my lap, and she took the floor instead. Hmmmm…

Of course that meant I left for work late, and sacrificed making a lunch. Oh, a worthy sacrifice it was, but now I’m hunting around my cube for snackies to tide me over until I get home to my favorite snack. If you know what I mean.

And I think you do.

*ahem*

’cause it’s my girlfriend.

I stepped right into a meeting when I got here, an hour and a half discussing the hardware and software for the editing suite / control room here at work. I’m glad I was there, as we had the vendor present, and I was able to stand up for my vested interests – after all, I’m the one who is (theoretically) going to be using this crap, yeah?

I’m really getting sick of fast food, to go back to food for a second. I’ve had way too much of it in the past few weeks.

  1. I do what I can, take one for the team, sacrifice for the better good, etc. etc.

‘cept it’s not really like that at all. *grins*

  3. What a great way to start the day. =)

As for food — I know what you mean. The last couple of weeks have been crazy for
us, and a lot of nights we haven’t had time to cook meals, let alone plan them.
We lucked out in that we found a
    little place
locally that turns out awesome healthy lunches. Still, it gets really hard to dodge the
fast food thing when you’re on the road…and you two have
    RTBF coming up…

    • Hehe, so true. We’re going to try to plan food a little ahead.

      • If you guys are really coming all the way out here to visit us I will cook for you.

What would you like? If you like sushi we can totally do a messy sushi evening. That would be awesome.

Otherwise let me know and I can make it.

        • Cool! Probably not sushi though, that’s an occasional thing for me (I always eat nagiri, just fish on rice with soy and wasabi, m’self).
